Fábio Moon was born in São Paulo in June, 1976, alongside his twin-brother Gabriel Bá. Together they have contributed to various publications and anthologies including “Autobiographix,” “Five,” and “Pixu.” Their most personal work to date is their “De:TALES” from Dark Horse Comics, a collection of short stories written and drawn by the two brothers, but they have completed numerous short stories, comics, and graphic novels for various publishers.
Fábio Moon’s recent work includes collaborations with many notable North American comics writers. His most recent works include drawing “Casanova Volume 2” with author Matt Fraction and “Sugar Shocks” with author Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Firefly), which appeared in Myspace Dark Horse Presents Volume 1.
Moon recently won two Eisner awards for his work on “Pixu” and “Sugar Shocks,” and is hard at work collaborating with Gabriel on an upcoming arc of “BPRD” and a new series for Vertigo, “Daytripper.”
